Now I know it is off the topic of Fulham but I hope some of you will agree with me. It made me feel so happy when Ronaldo attempted to show off with his standing penalty.
It served him right to have it saved for being so arrogant. Its exactly like the World Cup all over again.
When he was interviewed after the match I couldn't help but think is this what football is about when you become so good, do you have to show off with fancy skills to stay at your best.
Overall a good game although as much as it hurts me to say Chelsea deserved to win, I would rather the cup came back to London then Manchester.

I quite agree. To be honest, with goalkeepers as good as Cech and van Der Saar, you need pace on the ball to send it past them, as with a standing penalty, they will see which way it goes, and as it won't have the power, they'll be able to get on the end of it.
He got off lucky, did Ronaldo.
